Clinics

We provide a full range of family planning services including coils; caps and implanon. Please ask at reception for an appointment (which will be subject to availability at the time, given current pressures and demands on the Practice). Please note these clinics are usually always monthly on a Tuesday morning.

The contraceptive pill can now be obtained and managed by local pharmacies and sexual health clinic,  making this more convenient for patients.

A general health check are available as follows:

NHS Health check

• aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
• Well Woman
• Well Man
• aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)

General checks will be carried out as follows:

Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice, Tetanus status.
