Repeat prescriptions may be requested in any of the following ways:
- Written and posted in the repeat prescription box, situated in the surgery entrance (request forms are available by the box)
- By post and will be returned to you if you enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.
- By fax, on 01772 715445.
- Online with Patient Access via the link at the top of this page (you need to register for this service at the surgery with Photo ID)
- By email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please ensure all written requests include the full drug name and dosage you are currently taking, alternatively, you may use the tear off slip attached to your previous prescription.
Prescriptions will generally be available for collection after a minimum of 48 hours. Please be aware that weekends and bank holidays may affect this time.
Please note that some items cannot be sent to the chemist by EPS. This is a national system that cannot be changed locally. Tramadol is one of these items. Prescriptions for Tramadol need to be collected from the surgery and taken to the pharmacy for dispensing. Thank you.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
