Our five highly experienced Nurse Practitioners work independently to see and treat patients with minor ailments. They offer same day appointments and can prescribe for a wide list of complaints. The receptionists may guide you to these appointments as necessary.
The nurses manage our treatment room work, dressings, routine injections, ear syringing, blood samples and ECGs, when ordered by the doctor.
A full travel vaccination programme is offered and they are also available for all general health matters, family planning advice, cervical smears, menopausal care and reviewing of minor ailments.
The nurses take an active role in the review and management of patients with ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, COPD and asthma.

If you are experiencing anxiety, panic, stress, depression, despair, lack of motivation or interest in day to day activities then a Primary Care Mental Health Worker is available to assist and help you overcome these problems. Please make an appointment with your usual Doctor who will decide if a referral to this service is appropriate for you.
N.B. Appointments with the Mental Health Worker can only be made with a referral from the Doctor.
